Almost £1.2m has been paid to companies to support the Island's Airport with compliance activities.
That's according to Alf Cannan, who is currently acting as the Minister for Infrastructure.
Money was spent with 27 companies in the 2022/23 financial year.
Although, the department says not all of the money would have necessarily gone towards compliance activities, but 'there is no easy way to split these amounts out.'
The airport is required to demonstrate compliance in a number of areas such as wildlife controls, security, and airport construction.
