An Island charity is supporting the declaration of a climate change emergency in Tynwald this week.
Founder of FIM Capital Beach Buddies, Bill Dale, says the matter 'is the most important issue facing the world today'.
According to Mr Dale there's a will among the Manx people 'to do things now and make changes'.
Tynwald also backed an amendment on Tuesday for the setting up of a climate emergency transformation team to force changes across government to meet climate change objectives.
