A Ramsey commissioner believes an event in the town to explain the 'dial-a-ride' minibus system in the north would be beneficial.
Juan McGuinness has contacted MHK's about the ConnectVILLAGES scheme saying after events were held in Jurby ahead of its launch to get the views of local residents he thinks a similar roadshow could be helpful for the people of Ramsey.
The scheme was started in April replacing a number of regular buses with on-demand services between Monday and Friday designed to link Jurby with Ramsey, Andreas, Bride and Maughold.
Mr McGuinness added in the meantime anyone in the area who wishes to put their views forward on the matter should e-mail or write to Bus Vannin directly.
