A Douglas man has been fined £600 after breaking a ban which prohibited him from entering pubs.
Police found 57-year-old Richard Alan Kewley, of Tynwald Road, sitting near the toilets in The Nags Head just before 11pm on Tuesday, August 15th.
When they tried to escort him outside he became abusive and began shouting and swearing at them - he also told officers he'd urinated in his trousers.
At Douglas Courthouse yesterday Kewley admitted being drunk and disorderly and breaching a licensing order.
The court heard the order - which banned Kewley from licensed premises - had only been imposed on August 4th.
Sentencing Kewley Magistrates told him: "We're quite concerned you've broken the banning order within two weeks of it being imposed - that doesn't bode well."
They ordered him to pay £125 in costs and extended the ban for a further six months.
