The Social Care Minister has come under fire for not doing enough to measure household income.
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has raised concerns that Chris Robertshaw’s department doesn’t have a proper understanding of the income and how it’s related to fuel cost.
She says after asking a similar question 20 months ago she’s still waiting to see some progress.
With the cold weather setting in Mrs Beecroft says she believes the department should be using a tool to measure it like the UK does in terms of fuel poverty.
She says something needs to be done:
17 Bus services could be cancelled today
Public debate to explore plans for Manx economic growth
Grants available for Christian churches
Motorcycle club want to hear from potential MGP newcomers
Entries open for Poetry Trail
Reservoir project behind schedule
Women in business celebrated at Isle of Man’s Elevate You Awards
