Four people were taken to hospital due to smoke inhalation following a house fire this morning.
Crews from Peel and Douglas were called out just before 3am to a house that was well alight with smoke and flames coming out of the windows.
It’s reported the people in the property managed to get themselves out, but were suffering from smoke inhalation.
The fire service was in attendance for around three hours, with police managing the road throughout.
People are reminded to be extra careful when cooking and to not leave items unattended.
