Consultation will commence at 9am on 31st October, finishing on Friday 9th December
The public are going to be asked to give their views on the future recreational use of the Island’s reservoirs in a consultation process beginning at the end of the month.
The Water and Sewerage Authority have said they are committed to promoting reasonable access to the reservoirs, but this must be weighed against the need for public safety and the protection of these valuable assets.
They say they will carefully consider all views submitted and will balance them alongside the requirement to protect the Island’s raw water resources.
The findings of the consultation will help shape the authority’s recreational use policy.
