A government initiative has been launched which is geared toward halving long term unemployment.
The Department’s of Economic Development, Social Care and the Treasury have devised a new scheme which has required an extra £300,000 of funding.
It will provide opportunities for developing people's confidence and skills which will help individuals secure suitable paid work.
Professional agencies will also be used to help coach, mentor and offer placements to those needing to get back into employment.
