HOK to discuss medicinal cannabis production

What thought has been given to licensing the production of cannabis for medical purposes?

That's the question on the lips of Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper who'll put his question to Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, in the House of Keys next week.

The results of a public consultation into medicinal cannabis were published earlier this week and got one of the largest number of responses a government consultation has ever received.

The next Keys session is due to take place on Tuesday in Douglas from 10am.
