Emergency services were mobilised this morning following a fire at Noble's Hospital.
Firefighters from Douglas were called to the scene at around 8.20am - on arrival they found a light fitting had caught alight, however members of staff at the hospital had been able to extinguish it before crews arrived.
Due to the area being smoke logged, fire personnel then checked it over with thermal imaging areas to make sure the flames were out.
Crews were at the scene for around 40 minutes to carry out checks to make sure the section could then be re-occupied by hospital staff.
