Isle of Man Energy has agreed to a 'short pause' in gas disconnections for customers who are struggling to pay bills.
That's according to Chair of the Office of Fair Trading John Wannenburgh, who was asked for an update on the situation in Tynwald this morning.
Mr Wannenburgh adds that the pause will give the OFT time to review the number of cases lodged by people concerned.
It comes as around 30 homes have already been disconnected by Isle of Man Energy, with 60 more thought to be expected in the coming weeks.
