Laxey has been invaded by 'Lawn Prawns,' according to a local wildlife charity.
The Manx Wildlife Trust says the shrimp-like bugs are native to Australia, but have now made their way to the Isle of Man.
They eat dead plants, which makes soil more fertile, but the wider effects of the lawn prawn on the Island's habitats still needs to be studied.
