Will road tax rise again from next month?
The amount motorists pay in road tax, could rise for the first time since April 2018, if proposals are approved at this month’s Tynwald sitting.
If given the green light The Vehicle Duty Order 2020 will result in a number of changes, with effect from April 1 2020.
If accepted, all motorbikes will be charged a flat rate of £25 and vehicles over thirty years old will also be charged £25.
For all other vehicles, there would be a rise of 3.2%, coming in from next month.
