People shouldn't confuse government's budget difficulties with the performance of the economy as a whole.
That's Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly who says he understands why some are failing to see its positive performance.
2014 saw a year of continued growth for the Island of around three per cent - with unemployment falling by nearly a quarter.
