The Health Minister says he will step down from his position if it’s found that he misled his political colleagues.
David Anderson told Tynwald this morning that a Standards Committee is now looking into the matter surrounding complaints at Noble’s Hospital.
It’s after hospital clinicians expressed their concerns over patient safety in a letter which was published by South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft.
Last month Mr Anderson told Tynwald that support for the letter had been withdrawn by a number of staff – something refuted by one of the clinicians, the consultant Dr Divers, who claims the Minister is misleading people.
