Thomas The Tank Theme Park Way Forward Says Waft

MLC George Waft has put forward a proposal for an Isle of Man based theme park, in an effort to revitalize Manx Tourism.

Mr Waft said it’s crucial for the future of the Island’s tourism sector that consideration is given to the younger generation.

Whereas the scale of the park would not be in the same leagues of say Alton Towers or Lego land he did say a Thomas the Tank Engine park would be sure to draw the younger crowds.

He said he would hope that some local entrepreneurs would be enticed by the idea of providing family fun on the Island.
