Work has started to find a promoter for the much talked about TT World Series.
Expressions of interest are being invited for a new commercial promoter who would handle all aspects of the TT brand, from the TT Races to developing a franchised series of 'TT World Series' events.
The move will see Government totally outsource all commercial aspects of the races, currently managed by Economic Development's Motorsport Team.
It's hoped that a suitable promoter could be sourced and in place by December of this year.
We spoke to Matt Wilson from the Sports Consultancy team handling the process, he says they're optimistic they will hear from a lot of worthy candidates:
