Police clampdown on speeding motorists

Speeding motorists have been warned they'll be hit in the pocket if they continue to flout speed limits.

This week police have stopped a number of vehicles for going too fast - officers handed out warnings, fixed penalties and reported some to appear in court.

Sergeant Steven Lapsley heads up the Roads Policing Team - he says extensive road closures make the problem worse:
