Police are warning people not to give out personal details over the phone after Island residents were contacted by scammers.
Officers say they're had reports from people who've received telephone calls from someone claiming to be from the government.
In the calls, they say they'll replace old boilers with new ones.
But the calls are hoaxes, and police say those behind them may be collecting personal information to use in scams.
