Householders who failed to return their census forms are being told they have 'one last chance' to submit the document.
People were asked to send their forms back by May 6th - the Manx census took place on April 24th.
Since then the Census Office has been chasing the outstanding documentation by sending reminder letters and calling at properties.
Between 100 and 200 people are still to reply - that works out at 0.5 per cent of the total.
It's a legal requirement to complete the census - people are being warned they will be prosecuted if the forms remain missing; if convicted a fine of up to £1,000 can be imposed.
In addition the Census Office says a number of householders may not have recorded children on the census form properly as the school enrolment figures don't tally.
