Roundels are not roundabouts.
That's according to Police in a post on social media earlier today.
It's after officers liased with the Department of Infrastructure, following a number of queries about the new roundels on Douglas Prom.
Authorities say they'd like to clarify the 'roundels are not roundabouts' and should be treated as unmarked junctions, as defined in the Highway Code.
Drivers are asked to approach them slowly, smoothly and to give way to other road users.
The force adds whilst the promenade is not finished, it's starting to take shape and is a vast improvement.
