Royal Show visitors asked to plan ahead

Police say they will do their best to keep traffic delays to a minimum around the area of the Royal Show.

The two day event kicks off today at Knockaloe in Patrick - around 20,000 people are expected to attend. 
 
PC Ian Scott from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team has this message for motorists: 
 
 
Thousands of additional vehicles are expected to be on the roads - there is also a dedicated bus service which will serve St Johns and Peel.
