A school in the north of the Island is planning changes to the first floor of one of its buildings.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture has applied for permission to make modifications at Ramsey Grammar School.
In its application, the department says it wants to carry out work on the school's west building.
The first floor would be extended to provide a new study area, and a fire escape would be moved to accommodate the new facility.
