A reminder is going out to Isle of Man residents to check their passports before making any travel arrangements.

July and August are the peak months for the Passport and Immigration Office in terms of handling passport applications and renewals.

Passport processing is currently taking up to six weeks on the Isle of Man, so travellers are strongly advised to ensure their documentation is in order well in advance of any planned journeys off-Island.
