Motorists are being urged to lock their cars - or risk having them pinched.
The plea from police comes after a number of vehicles were taken over the last couple of weeks.
They were taken from various locations across the Island.
Officers say a common factor in most of the incidents was the fact the keys had been left in the vehicles.
They say whilst they are working on catching the offenders they are urging people to remove their keys and lock their vehicles when not in use.
