A man who was arrested for possessing cannabis on a reality TV show during TT has admitted the offence.
20 year old Mahmoud Ali El Meligy featured on TT Blues when he was arrested after officers smelt cannabis while they were on patrol on Douglas Promenade on June 6.
His arrest was featured on the ITV show.
At Douglas Courthouse this week, he admitted two counts of possessing cannabis when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
She ordered El Meligy to do 40 hours of community service for both counts, to run concurrently.
