TT star Conor Cummins has been appointed as an ambassador for Team Isle of Man.
He’s been chosen to represent the Commonwealth Games Association ahead of the sporting event which takes place in Glasgow next year.
Conor, who is the fastest Manxman to ever lap the TT Course, will help to raise funds and publicity for Manx athletes.
Although motorsport does not play a part in the Commonwealth Games the organising committee says it wanted to include a representative from this area as it’s an important part of the Island’s sporting and cultural heritage.
