It’s thought that the coverage of the TT brand carries a value of over £4 million.
This year's festival received over 400 hours of global television coverage - proving to be ITV4’s most popular sport broadcast for the year - attracting 8 million and 648,000 people to the 14 programmes.
On Island the newly introduced ‘remote’ grandstands sold just shy of 3,000 tickets, with 4,493 sold for the main grandstand on the four race days.
