TT's economic boost queried

How does the TT affect the Island's economy?

That's what the chairman of the Tynwald's Economic Policy Review Committee will ask the government next week.

Mike Coleman MLC wants to know how the TT and Festival of Motorcycling benefit the Island financially.

He wants the Treasury to compile a report before June.

The move comes after the collapse of the proposed Vision Nine deal which would have seen the TT run by a private company.
