Politicians on the Isle of Man are being subjected to anonymous and misplaced comment "too often".
That's the opinion of the President of Tynwald who says it's been fuelled by the "modern phenomenon" of social media.
Steve Rodan made the comments as he addressed the outgoing government administration in Tynwald where he paid tribute to MHKs who were standing down.
One of those was Ayre representative Eddie Teare - himself the victim of a poison pen campaign.
