The President of Mannin Cancers has spoken to 3FM following a debate in the House of Keys this week about delays with their proposed information and support centre on the Nobles Hospital site.
Health and Social Care Minister Lawrie Hooper said a lengthy due diligence process is behind the hold up, however Douglas North MHK David Ashford accused him of not making this a priority.
President of the Charity group David Gawne said he knows it isn't a priority for government, which is why they took on the project themselves in the first place.
He said it's crucial they can commence the works in January, as otherwise they'll have to wait until the summer, due to legislation protecting bats and birds meaning that certain trees cannot be felled
