Fine Art Workshop with Ella Magee: 19th April, 10am
Join us for an exciting art workshop designed for young people and adults aged 8 and up, where creativity and curiosity come together!
This unique opportunity will encourage participants to observe the world around them, record their discoveries, and learn how to develop original ideas. Using museum archives as inspiration, and the exhibition 6 ways of seeing, we’ll explore transdisciplinary research—connecting art with history, science, and storytelling—to create something truly new and unexpected. Whether you’re a budding artist or just love to explore, this workshop will spark your imagination and open up endless creative possibilities!
The workshop will be led by artist and educator Ella Magee, who is currently exhibiting at the museum. With a strong background in transdisciplinary research, her MA focused on making wide connections across disciplines to generate new and exciting creative outcomes. Drawing from her experience as both an artist and teacher, Ella will guide participants through an inspiring process of observation, idea development, and hands-on making, encouraging them to see the world in new ways and create something truly original.
This workshop will take place over four hours from 10am at the House of Manannan, aimed at ages 8 and up (adults included)
