More Information (3FM is not responsible for external websites)

Hari Magar is the first double above-the-knee amputee to summit Everest (2023).
Hari held various roles while serving with the Royal Gurkha Rifles. During his tour in Afghanistan in 2010, he lost both of his legs above the knee to an IED. He is now an inspirational speaker who has worked tirelessly to transform perceptions of what is possible for people with a disability. Through his achievements, Hari aims to inspire people to climb their own ‘mountains’, no matter what adversity stands in their way.
