The Department for Enterprise will make grants of up to £3,000 available to certain industries affected by the global Coronavirus outbreak.
It comes as Tynwald approved the Coronavirus Business Support Scheme 2020 put forward by Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly MHK, at the sitting of the court today.
It means any business from a number of sectors which do qualify for it will be entitled to the cash boost.
The initiative is part of a number of support measures proposed by the DfE and Treasury to help businesses who face financial losses as a result of COVID-19.
