The all-Island speed limit is being increased from 40mph to 60mph from today.
The 40mph restriction had been in place since late March as part of measures to reduce the number of collisions on Manx highways during the Coronavirus pandemic which could have put extra strain on the emergency services.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, stated last week it's hoped any all-Island limit could be totally removed by the end of the month.
In his comments at a media briefing last week, Mr Quayle added that matter remains under review.
However, other speed limits across the Island where signs advise of 20mph/30mph/40mph/50mph will remain in place.
