From this afternoon, overnight camping will be allowed in a certain section of the Ayres National Nature Reserve.
That's according to the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture which says motorhomes will be able to use only the recreational area at Smeale and for a maximum of three consecutive nights.
However, DEFA officials add motorhome owners must display an 'Authorisation for overnight stay' badge in their windscreen and that there won't be any toilet facilites available.
Authorisations can be obtained from DEFA on 685 835, the warden on 246 594 or e-mailing ecopolicy@gov.im .
