Health officials are asking anyone who gives blood to continue doing so as normal during the Coronavirus pandemic if they're healthy enough to do so.
The government says blood donor sessions are still going ahead ths month to maintain supplies with extra safety measures now in place to protect both donors and staff.
Officials add donors currently at home practicing social distancing will be allowed to visit the Jubilee Suite at the Old Noble's Hospital on Ballakermeen Road as giving blood is classed as essential travel.
Those taking part who don't show any Coronavirus risk factors will be invited to enter the donor area - those taking part are being asked to make sure they arrive at their allotted appointment time.
