Cafe's on Island will be able to prepare for opening outdoor facilities from June 1.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, announced the decision as part of government's latest steps in tackling the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Quayle adds it won't be a straightforward process but that advice, guidance and support is being given.
Meanwhile, self-catering accommodation has been given the go ahead to open their doors once more from next Monday (May 25).
