A popular venue in the West of the Island has shut as a precaution over Coronavirus.
The Centenary Centre on Atholl Street in Peel is closing 'for the foreseeable future' following a meeting of its directors in the wake of new emergency measures from government to protect against the global spread of COVID-19.
In a statement, the centre says it's re-scheduling shows, films and events where possible and those who'd bought tickets for them can use them at the rearranged date or can receive a refund if they prefer.
The centre is also calling on residents to make sure they follow the government advice to help protect people in the community from the virus.
