Changes have been announced for Worker Migrant Visas on Island to support employers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those which were due to expire on May 15 will be extended for six months whilst those who are still employed will have restrictions on the type of work or hours permitted for that role lifted until November 16.
Furthermore, for Isle of Man worker migrants in the medical and healthcare sector and their dependants, the duration of leave for those whose visa is due to expire before 31 December has been extended for 12 months.
Also, for those in that category, restrictions around the type of work and hours permitted in those fields have been removed until December 31, 2021.
