Changes to travel to and from the Island for 'overriding personal reasons' are coming into effect.
From today, residents can apply to enter or leave the Isle of Man for child visitation or to offer support for an unwell parent, whilst applications from non-residents to come to Manx shores to assist frail, elderly or otherwise vulnerable residents will also be considered.
This also includes anyone needing to come here to deal with the estates of deceased Island family members.
Any travel must be approved by the Cabinet Office.
