A local charity has brought in measures to help the blind and visually impaired with social distancing.
Manx Blind Welfare Society (MBWS) has introduced a badge and hi-vis jacket for those who struggle with their eyesight so that other people know these individuals may struggle with knowing their proximity to others.
It's also hoped it will encourage members of the public around those using the items to stop and offer verbal assistance if needed.
Dave Wilson, from MBWS, says social distancing 'doesn't come easily for all members of society', and is asking residents to mindful of visually impaired individuals wearing the items or who have a white cane or guide dog.
