Authorities are receiving complaints about some behaviour at a spot popular with those looking to exercise during the current lockdown.
According to Police at Clypse Reservoir and nearby Green Lane area, signs asking people to go one-way around the reservoir, protect animals and stop infection have been torn down, bags of dog poo are being left lying about and cars are blocking clearly marked gates.
Officers say its important to keep areas like them open for people's physical and mental health, but are asking residents to exercise at home where possible and if they have to drive somewhere to park in safe junction.
One-way notices around the reservoirs were put in place as another measure to maintain social distancing on busy routes around them.
