The constabulary says a small number of fixed penalties have been issued - adding whilst it's important to be able to exercise, residents must make sure they maintain social distancing when outdoors.
Meanwhile, in what officers say was a busy weekend, it's been confirmed three people are appearing before court today via video link from Police Headquarters.
However, authorities add the majority are following government advice over COVID-19 and are asking people to 'keep it up and keep smiling'.
