We should be giving ourselves structure at home to keep our minds positive as inactivity can lead to more negative thoughts.
That's according to Clinical Psychologist at the Department of Health and Social Care, Dr Mark Skelding, speaking at this afternoon's Coronavirus press conference.
He says our moods can dip if we're inactive and not learning and experiencing new things whilst in self-isolation.
Dr Skelding adds things such as planning in social activities each day such as speaking to friends and family by phone or video are ways we can prevent any breakdown in our mental health.
