A woman’s been remanded in custody after admitting breaching lockdown rules.
Rosemary Burgess of Clifton Terrace in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 18 year old pleaded guilty to one count of breaching the Island’s emergency coronavirus regulations on May 2.
The court heard Burgess, who appeared via a live videolink from police headquarters, was being looked for by police investigating an alleged theft when they found her at an address in Heather Crescent in Pulrose.
She admitted she didn’t live there, and two others also at the property were given fixed penalty notices.
Burgess has yet to enter a plea to a charge of theft, and was remanded in custody to appear in court again on May 21.
