A Local garage is doing its bit to help the elderly during the Coronavirus pandemic - by opening exclusively to them for an hour on Friday.
The local garage says it’s Alexander Drive store in Douglas will be closed to the general public on Friday, March 20 between 2 - 3pm.
The company says it’s to allow customers of retirement age, who perhaps have no-one to shop for them the chance to shop and stock up on essential items without large crowds of people.
In a post EVF says it will have toilet roll, fresh fruit and veg and frozen foods.
It’ll also be offering a free hot drink to all customers and if you bring a empty spray bottle will fill it for free with sanitiser spray.
Lastly, it adds to leave your contact details and if you need to self-isolate and it will do its best to assist.
