A financial support package has been announced to support the Islands fishings industry during the Coronavirus pandemic.
A grant scheme has been put together which will make more than £370,000 available over a 12-week period with all existing support initiatives to continue as normal.
It'll be available to seafood businesses which qualify under the criteria around the scale of buying fish and fish products over the last year and also for those who own registered and licensed Manx vessels.
Those who have boats of 12 metres or longer could receive £500 a week and those under 12 metres £150 week to help pay for maintenance and operation costs.
