The first case of Coronavirus on Island has been described as 'mild'.
It was confirmed in today's press briefing spear-headed by Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford.
The Health Minister wasn't answering any questions - but gave further details of the person who tested positive for Covid-19 last night after returning from Spain.
He said the man concerned is self-isolating and hasn't needed any hospital treatment, the person in question developed symptoms and sought medical advice, they were then contacted last night and contact tracing is underway.
Mr Ashford confirmed the case is 'mild', there has been no evidence of human to human transmission and the patients' family is showing no symptoms.
In today's press briefing journalists had to maintain a two-metre distance from one another.
It's also been confirmed the Chief Minister will give a full briefing this afternoon and will be taking questions.
