The government will now provide daily updates to inform the public of the efforts to protect Island people from Coronavirus.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, confirmed the news at a conference this afternoon.
Mr Quayle adds he or other ministers may take on the responsibility of providing the day-to-day briefings for the public.
